THE ACCOMMODATION
The holiday home is characterized by a good balance between the rustic style of a wooden house and all the necessary modern conveniences. The interior exudes a homely atmosphere thanks to warm colours, lots of wood and the large tiled stove. You have a total of approx. 65 square meters at your disposal.

The house was built in 1989/1990 and last renovated in 2020/21. The functional bathroom on the ground floor has been preserved.

Location & region
The Vogtland district in Saxony is an area that is wonderful for hiking and cycling. Extensive, deep green forests, hilly fields next to moors and lakes characterize the landscape.
In just 6 km you can reach the state spa Bad Elster with thermal baths and theater. Just as close is Markneukirchen, the "capital" of musical instrument making. About 15km away you will find Schöneck, the highest town in the Vogtland. The proximity to Bavaria and the neighboring Czech Republic ensures permanent variety in culture and nature.
The town of Adorf itself has a newly renovated outdoor pool, a nationally known botanical garden, the Klein Vogtland miniature show complex, the historic market square and Germany's only mother-of-pearl museum (more at www.adorf-vogtland.de)
The location of the house in Remtengrün is ideal as a starting point for short or longer hikes. You enjoy complete peace and quiet combined with a wonderful view of the city of Adorf and the Elstertal.
THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE
During the day you can visit animal parks, museums or theaters and, above all, enjoy the enchanting nature of the Vogtland on long trips in the fresh air. Such a day is rounded off, for example, with an evening visit to one of the two nearby state baths. Especially the salt water bath contributes to complete relaxation after a long day of discovering.
You can also relax in your own barrel sauna in the garden of the house. This is available to you free of charge for the duration of your stay.
